UV Damaged Fruit, Summer Snow & Atmospheric Compression Events

A couple of interesting stories from Spain caught by attention. First, “Fruit burned by extreme heat in Spanish region of Aragon.” There are other reports, as well, about burnt skin of fruits and vegetables across the planet, so I am wondering if this is due to increased ultraviolet (UV) radiation. If this was just from heat, everything would have been withered, not just the skins of the fruits. Or is it maybe because the leaves have different protective coating? Anyway, this event is now a global phenomenon.

Another event are these increased hailstorm sizes that decimated orchards across the planet leaving heavy damage in Spain. Some summer fruits, grapes, and peppers were destroyed; and it is still too early to assess the exact extent of the damage.

At that same time, hail damaged orchards in Italy. It is the third year in a row with extensive damage seen in Italy, as well as in Spain and in Croatia. Seems like a trend now.

These extremes in weather and amplified hail events ripping matured fruit off the trees is alarming. How quickly, do you think, can these fruits be turned into jam for them to be at least useful, especially if you have 5,000 acres of fruit orchards?

These images of hail should give you a good indication of how smaller hail can still do this much damage to apples. Pea-sized hail can leave dents enough to blemish or rip the skin of the apples open for the insects or pests to get in.

I know that not everyone eats fruit, but if you are a fruit eater like me, what will you do if you cannot get it, or if you cannot get anything for that matter, because it is no longer available in a store? Maybe some will switch to something else, perhaps the same foods you buy. So, again there is that butterfly effect of push and pull on the supply and demand.

Meanwhile, the Horizon Intelligence shared this story of the floods in Istanbul about two weeks ago. That blue pin is perfect for the amplification area. In fact, I am going to call this the center of the center for the amplification over the Black Sea in Turkey, next to Greece. Over the last couple of years’ exceptional weather fronts, hail events, electrical phenomenon, and sideline winds were seen in this area with snows in the wrong seasons.

I know that I am supposed to be focusing on fruits in this article, but as I was chasing the story, I keep on stumbling across these snows in August in Turkey. That may not be a lot of snow, but then that was on the 24th of August 2019 in the middle of summer.

Turkey also had a heavy summer snow again in August 31st, right into September 1st, 2018; so, this extremely rare event is now on its second year in a row.

Now Turkey is having these atmospheric compression events, but if you look at the last 5 years, the weather has been extreme in that country, and it is getting more intense. Same is true with Italy and the Adriatic Sea compared to most places across Europe.

Case in point, this newest event released 4 months’ worth of rain in 90 minutes. That huge amount of rain flooded the streets and even went down to the famous Grand Bazaar.

A huge part of the city was flooded, turning streets into rivers. This image here is the aftermath. Obviously, any lower areas, like the pedestrian crossings, etc. that were filled up needs to be pumped out.

Then the same thing happened in Japan. This article from The Big Wobble described the event as “biblical” amounts of rain. But how much is biblical? Because this is 10 times the normal amount of rainfall for August.

Mexico also had storms affecting more than 10,000 to 12,000 hectares of farmland.

That 10,000-12,000 hectares are metric system equivalents. So, this has damaged about 25,000 to 28,000 acres of fruit production in a single storm. I have yet to see 25,000 acres of agricultural land damaged in a single storm dropping hail in my lifetime.

Suddenly, this seems to be the norm, from Asia to Europe and to North America, and this is going to continue to intensify. Climate Revolution, the new book I wrote talks more about these atmospheric changes due to the shift in the Intertropical Convergence Zone and Sun’s magnetic fields cancelling each other out.

Moreover, you need to start thinking about storing food that you can add into what will be available in the markets in case of food shortages or extreme food price spikes and food unavailability. Finally, this is the perfect time for you to consider growing your own food.
