Back in October of 2017, an 18 month old spent the night in ICU recovering from an heroin overdose, but was released the following day.
According to reports, when the child and his sibling came back from a park, the 18 month old put the drug in his mouth.
I have posted several stories on the issues of drugs as well as several poems of people struggling with addiction, and or overcoming the everyday battle of addiction.
It is an serious issue across the world and it seems like the fight hasn't subsided any, and it seems like there are no signs of overcoming the fight. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have seen people on a park bench nodding off, some waiting on the bus but can't get on because their body literally can not move. It is a battle that I believe will be forever ongoing.
It's so sad :( Even America's war on drugs hasn't helped. It only worsened by putting parents in prison and creating dysfunctional families. Wonder if there at all will be a solution.

But, what will change everything is getting people to find meaning in their lives. Right now, we have this stupid tell-a-vision telling people a vision about being uphappy mice in a rat race.
We send people to college... to waste their time. To give their parents 4 more years before they have to get out of the workforce.
The chains of our enslavement are everywhere. And we accept most willingly. (as we are programmed to do)
When you heal the underlying hurt. The drugs just go away.

I watched one of my cashiers get 2 doses of this after a 9 minute long siezure..... This is after i had to hold her from hurting herself while thrashing about... Its not just for drug over dose.
But im glad it has many uses, it helps save lots of lives 😀

Many people indulge in this evil every day. It has ruined the youth as well as small innocent children. Media should pay more attention towards this social evil so that it can be brought to some end. Thanks for sharing such a nice post. Perhaps, it can stop the drug consumption to some extent.

I totally agree with you, and at the same time I know that it won't change.
Maybe some people will stop, some people will keep doing drugs and some people will die from an overdose. It doesn't matter - The number of people who do drugs will always rise. SADLY! :(

It's really a situation to think about. Here in India, several problems like this exists. People do drugs, cocaine, heroine etc and are in hangover and due to their unconsciousness , the do stuffs that they shouldn't have done and repent later. But it becomes too late and they suffer and cannot overcome from it . I really feel pity for those people. Thanks for informing us about this

Yes, the problem is psychosomatic...Stress. Activity of the mind. Mind is very powerful machine that can convince the person, that drugs are the solution to exaggerated anxiety...In the old times there were strong principles that made the society to live with high moral norms and the kings didn't let any person, in the society, to be disatisfied & even unemployed...
We need virtue for stpping drug addictions...
