Firestone- a country/reggae movement

Spending quite some time to create al alternative African song at the request of a friend, I realized that I Simply wasn't getting it right.

While scrapping it all, a particular tune kept playing in my head, that tune, is the piano track on the first verse. Its was quite interesting, so I started out by isolating it, next came some drums, I decided to go for some vintage drum sounds, ones where the kick wasn't particularly heavy, since I wanted my bass to hold the floor on this track.

I then added some acoustic guitars to make it shine a bit, and finally at the chorus, I whipped out the lead guitar.

It started feeling funky to me, so I played the guitar reggae style, but without the drumming pattern, all in all, I think this track came out well, and its a track I am willing to give away for free.

If you like it, leave a comment, if you do not, leave a comment stating why, I am open to criticism, and the truth is, the more issues I have and clear right away, the closer I get to perfection and that production spot light.

So if you notice the volume is low, the mixing is bad or you cant hear a particular element, or maybe even the song is boring, or the arrangement is out of whack, please state so.

In the mean time, I remain destiny, showbiz entrepreneur, music producer, community person, if you need any help and you're from Africa, beep me up!

This is fia bro and I like the jazz tune at the end, well the only issh is the naming, I wouldn't say country/reggae It sounded more alternate jazz mixed some Afro. But the beat is lit, can definitely dive in with your permission

extraordinary brother .. continue the struggle and good luck.

Keep it up bro. This is really great.

You're so on point bro. Enjoyed the piece

Nice one. You used a keyboard to play the piano and other instrument, or all in software? Note: I'm not a music producer at all and know only a little bit about production of electronic dance music(since I have friends being producers) which is generally done all in software, some keyboards and also hardware drum computers (for the old school producers :)).

I did it all in the software! I try to make my tracks as lively as possible, so i spend more time playing with the feel of the sound to make it more authentic .

Im still setting up my place, sometime this year, i plan to get more hardwares into the studio.

Nice to look forward to! :)

This is intense Destiny. A wonderful piece

You are very sound musically, I must confess. I am feeling the vibes right now.
