This song was composed by Pablo Camacaro, a quad player from the group Raíces de Venezuela, and was dedicated to the
Mr. Jesús Omar Uribe, friend and collaborator of the group. That's why his name is Mr. JOU, after the initials of this gentleman.
It is a Zulian dance, this genre is the first sister of the gaita and differs in that it does not carry a drum and the tempo is a little slower.

Sr. Jesús Omar Uribe, amigo y colaborador del grupo. Es por ello que se llama Sr. JOU, por las iniciales de este caballero. Es una danza zuliana, este género es prima hermana de la gaita y se diferencia en que no lleva tambora y el tempo es un poco más lento.
