Aphasia — Exclusive to DSound / Song 008 (of a Million)

in dsound •  7 years ago

After a couple of conversations here on Steemit, I decided to upload a piece of my experimental music (from grad school). This is a piece that was performed live on stage a couple of times, and was composed entirely in an analog approach (only written to disc digitally).

I primarily used the Buchla synthesizer at Stony Brook University to compose and record this piece. Let me know what you think! :) I'm allowing a free download of this piece exclusively at DSound. I love this place!

Is it supposed to sound like that??? Sounds like something out of star wars?

Haha @gabbyg86 / it's very academic music. Created on a giant buchla synthesizer. But yes, it does sound like sounds from Star Wars (also created on similar sequencers :)

It reminds me of that old spooky syfy move about the id monster.

Yeah man, that's great! :)

this content can make me to relive the things I have experienced 10 years ago, when I ever shook the stage of the music on the occasion of the anniversary of the country's independence, thanks @drkent. I love you

Interesting. Thanks.

i don't know how to play instrument or do some electronic sound but im into music. and this one is really awesome. sounds like you're watching a spookyfy suspense old movie. continue experimenting sounds cause yo really good :)

Thanks! I appreciate it.

nice........... can you tell me how to play

Ha! Sure. What are you hoping to play?

u know how to play piano and guitar?

Wish I had a Buchla to mess with. Reminds me a bit of some Stockhausen stuff. Ems VCS3 also nice for theses sounds. iVCS3 and Ripplemaker modular on ipad are good for experimenting with sounds in Buchla ballpark

Thanks man! I’ll dig that up :)
