Knowing Venezuelan traditional-popular music. Today's song: Luisa

It is a pleasure for me to present today's song in this musical field: "Luisa" by Zuliano Alfonso Huerta Bracho. It is a Zulian dance, sung, this time, by Ilan Chester. This is a song that has remained as a symbol of zulianity. The whole of this song has always been attributed to Alfonso Huerta Bracho, however, some say that the music was Fabio Molero, who shared with Huerta Bracho in the Maracaibo Trio, which was completed with "Camarita" Luzardo. Molero, composer, singer and guitarist, will always be remembered as a carefree bohemian, although at some point in his life he was Secretary of Education of Zulia State (Venezuela), that happened in the times of Dictator Marcos Pérez Jiménez.

Louise

How beautiful are the nights
When I'm by your side
I feel that your soul
Relive in me to exist
And is that being in your arms like that
The night lights up
Like a butterfly of light that poses
About my love (bis)

Let it always keep the heat
Of the hours I live for you
Let me prolong the illusion that I keep in
This love nest
To be able to Luisa say
This summer night
It will flog me if your soul babe
It makes me suffer (bis)
