Woodsman: I Understand Philip K Dick (Post Psychedelic Instrumental)

in dsound •  7 years ago

This track is taken from Woodsman's earliest recording sessions at Pink Castle in Denver Colorado. Recorded live to tape. Inspired in part by Terence Mckenna's piece of the same name which you can read in full [here](sirbacon.org/dick.htm).

"Truth or madness, you be the judge. What is trying to be expressed is this: The world is not real. Reality is not stranger than you suppose, it is stranger than you can suppose. Time is not what you think it is.** Reality is a hologram.*** Being is a solid state matrix and psychosis is the redemptive process ne plus ultra.**** The real truth is splintered and spread throughout time." - Terence Mckenna

The track is mostly free form and improvised with a couple recurring pre mediated melodies.
