Week Problem

Hello! Great music...and I have to apologize for that comment. I am always annoyed when people say "great art" on my posts - i enjoyed the rhythmic cadence of this tune - and I super enjoyed the one that zach posted in artzone earlier with your story in it - I could relate to what you are talking about...

many moons ago I attended a 2-year MFA program at RPI in integrated electronic arts and was introduced to electronic music... Pauline Oliveros was my mentor at that time...Neil Rolnick - another electronic musician was the founder of that program... they are all in NY - also Eve Beglarian was my friend at that time - I see she is still using the logo I designed for her so many moons ago .... not sure if those names ring any bells for you... I really liked the intro that zach posted about you ... and your experience with GE and your music... i am no longer following that path of integrated electronic art - but still making art - I upvoted, resteemed and am following you. I hope you like steemit - there are some very talented people on here...

being an artist is a calling. I have not made a living at it yet but without it I would be a flat, soulless paper-doll like so many folks I see today out walking around - so I am grateful for it - that it keeps my humanity...and I try to hold a positive attitude that one day I might find my way to what I am supposed to be doing with it... until then - I make it and subject myself to people's ignorance.

Thanks for the reply. I know very little about what is happening in electronic music. I live in a small rural town, and I wouldn't change that, but there is a price to pay. I am hoping that being an artist, or having a small business of any kind will be easier after the crisis that most people think is coming.

Thanks again for the reply.

maybe it will be...i am also an artist who tries to sell my work - but I try to keep a positive attitude and i keep trying. i guess that the "crisis" will demolish the whole system and I will be living off the grid by then and will just make art that decorates my surroundings...blessings! My electronic music experience is from well over 20 years ago now - so I abandoned it after I graduated...Lol.
