Greetings friends, today I start with a refrain that says, "Sometimes things change completely just by moving a small nut to the machine." This phrase has a lot to do with the song that I show you next, it is "Torn", Everyone knows Natalie Imbruglia's hitazo, ... but the reality is that the beautiful Australian made a cover in that 1997 that made her known to the world. "Torn" played two years earlier on an album by Ednaswap, a band considered grunge, of short commercial scope, which in May 1995 launched into the musical adventure with its self-titled debut, and which placed this composition on the market as a second single. . The most ironic thing is that the band, originally from Los Angeles, never felt the same way in the recordings and ended up dismissing the creative process as something disappointing, especially because they never sounded as they wished. Imbruglia, in contrast, bathed in glory with the most sweet and poppy performance of "Torn", accompanied by a curious video in which Jeremy Sheffield appeared and who invaded hours of programming MTV (when the network was really MTV ) during the end of 1997 and practically all the following year.
