I used to know a friend who always sing this song in the car, and always said to me, that we should never come in a situation like that.
At the end, he did get in that system like he warned me in the first place. The difference was, he singed the song and i listened to his words.
The knowledge that my woman would be fed up of me, is a situation what i always tried to prevent, in a way by giving my woman the love she deserved.
Now that i look back in time im glad that Rkelly made a master song of this subject, to remind every listener that "when a woman is fed up, there is nothing you can do about it".
The situation in the song was sure as hell my greatest fear, wrapped around in a beautiful song.
And maybe this song can remind you to take a step back, when you make your woman angry.
Just comfort her, give her a shoulder, a hand when she need, an opinion when she asked for it, a mirror to see the truth, and be a friend where she can laugh with or have some fun with, but on the same time show her that she is the top of the world, and what might be most important... be a father for your kids.
That's what im doing on this moment, for 19 years and i don't see a finish line.
I only see a huge horizon with no borders, while she stands and walk next to me, with a smile on her face.
And the old friend who warned me when this song came out? Should have listened to the song...
That's the moral of this story, a song might sound nice and good but it's a message, and it might be good to listen carefully at the text.
