STanding Tall is an original song created in collaboration with Netherland producer Qrittix. He sends me some pretty magnificent piano work, that i get the sheer pleasure to write to. Nothing quite gets my emotional strings like a fresh Qrittix production. The guy is pure emotions behind the boards of his home studio.

Soon as I heard the first run piano version I knew there was something special here, the song needed to be powerful, deep, and moving. Whenever I write music for no matter what kind of genre or feel, I always pull from inside myself and things happening around me, I always try and make it as real as possible. For those who listen to all my many different sides of music you know, that might seem like a scary thing, but I have a wild imagination brought to life in my early years through serious trauma and have had a wide range of life opinions thrown at me during my youth.

Standing Tall is a song for us all. When it seems like the world is against us and nothing counts, that everything we work so hard for can be just ashes in a second. In a world on the brink of war, with deception and control all around, we must not give up on ourselves, we breathe, we stand tall and we trust in something greater than ourselves. For me that means the universe, God, or the forever of time and all that is beyond my grasp of knowledge and wisdom.

Inside there is a quiet voice, I know its always been there from my earliest moments, and that voice is soothing when it says everything is going to be okay. :)
