Original Music Monday "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"

Track #5 off my yet to be titled 80's inspired instrumental album!

For this song, I wanted to make something that would go along with the classic movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
With that in mind, I tried to convey the feeling of everything moving fast in life as it does in Highschool when suddenly you are thrust into having to become an adult.
A lot of the tracks I was making around this time I was making like two, or three songs in one. Much of this inspiration came from The Beat Bully's production on Meek Mill's intro song to his first studio album "Dreams and Nightmares" which has an incredible switch up from elegant to hard and even earlier than that DJ Premier's production on Jay Z's "A Million and One Questions".
This fit really well with the 80's theme I was working with at the time since the inspiration was coming from movies that were trilogies [Back to the Future] or showed a lot of growth and change like this one.
I started doing this less and less over time because most artists would hit me back asking for either the first or second part of the beat by itself haha. Trust that I am still making the odd beat like this and stashing them away for myself!

This is a song I made back in 2016 as part of an unreleased set of 80's inspired beats, most of which will end up on this album I am slowly putting out now.
