Isn't steemit decentralised? If so, then how can they now turn it to a profit making Inc since profit relies solely on we who upvote or do not upvote? Just asking.

    I think the disconnect youre having is the difference between steemit and the steem blockchain... check out the steem website for a better idea of the various uses of the chain other than steemit blogging :)
