Trouble uploading to DTube

Unfortunately I keep having trouble uploading videos to DTube, pretty demotivating.

I wanted to upload the timelapse video of the painting process of this landscape painting, but now I can only post the final piece unfortunately.
This piece was made in the app Procreate during my daily train rides to my work. I used a reference photo and painted this in about an hour.

    The video just doesn't upload. It does upload the thumbnail, but it won't show the waiting list for the video upload. I've had this problem several times.

      Okay, so that's probably an issue on DTubes end if you can't even get into their upload queue. With some technical know-how you could get around that though, if you upload the videos directly to the IPFS network using your own node. It's explained very well in this video, it's a little tricky at first but after figuring it out once it's fairly simple. Might be worth looking into if you're running into these problems frequently. The only down side is that you need to have your node running for a while for other nodes to pick up your videos, though in theory that shouldn't take all that much longer than the regular upload via DTube's website and it's definitely faster if you're otherwise in a long queue.

            Hi @artwithflo amazing painting you have there i really like it. i am also having the same problem with D Tube .
