The next BitShares release will include a very nice feature: auto select the best node.
This feature is live on the reference wallet already - https://bitshares.org/wallet and will roll out to light wallet and hopefully every other webwallet starting from 1st September.
How to:
- Click the Cog
- Click Access
- Find "Choose Closest Automatically" and click Activate
