After painting the batik hoodie you saw in my intro video, I submerged it into a colorful dye bath, along with several other hoodies I have been working on. These buckets are so full, I have to use my body weight to press the batiks down. This usually only happens when I'm working with hoodies as the fleece fabric is pretty thick. But they're tough and can handle the process.
This is only the 2nd step and there are many more phases to go until we're finished and have an amazing batik design to show for all the work. Stay tuned for the next video!

Thank you sooooOOooo much to all the supportive comments and votes on my first video. I was so surprised at the response, I ran around the house with my laptop to show everyone what was going on. I'm still not even sure if it's real, but if so, the level of potential here on Dtube and Steemit is monumental. So many lives can be changed for the better. Artists can thrive, and even those appreciating the arts can be compensated for their enthusiasm. It's amazing.
