Lirio Parisotto is a Brazilian self-made billionaire, founder of Videolar and Entrepreneur of the Year 2002. Some time ago I went to Sao Paulo to interview him for my book "The Billion Dollar Secret". We spend a week talking about what made him so outrageously successful in business. Here are all these different products, CDs, DVDs. What else do we have? CDRs, pendrives, flashcards and of course the pad caps and polystyrene materials
Which were manufactured by Videolar and then you have all the history of phonographic industry.
I spent last week talking to mr Lirio Parisotto. We were talking about his success principles, about his success secrets.
One of the guiding principles he had in his life was he never accepted "No" as an answer.
This is actually also the thing he is proud about. Not about the wonderful company he built, not about the succeses he had as an investor. No!
Most proud he is about not accepting an "No" as an answer.
As an example he gave me the contract he got from Warner Brothers. He needed several years to convience Warner Brothers
The major global film industry giant to work with him. He got first "No", then he got rejected again and again...
But he never gave up. He kept improving himself, his business and giving better and better business offers to Warner Brothers...
And after several years he got exclusive right to produce and distribute products by Warner Brothers.
And also he approached 5 other film indystry giants to get the exclusive rights from them.
So, at the end he dominated the brazillian film market, representing 90% of the market, all of the big 6 in Brasilia
And this is the effect of his never giving up and never and never accepting a "No"
This was just one of the principles we were talking about.
