Firing a couple of shots from a suppressed Ruger RPR. 308 with Leupold optics at 240 yards. The target is a 3" steel plate. No hearing protection was needed. I have fired this rifle before without the suppressor and without hearing protection (by mistake) before and it was so loud it was almost painful.

Bro...I have a video of me hitting a slightly bigger steel target with a .22 pistol, free handed with open sights at that range for Gods sakes. I just noted the distance because I knew someone would ask.

My cushy Carhartt coat absorbed most of that recoil. Just think how big I am and it still was able to push me back lol, thats alot of energy! Love it!
