Meditation Has Made Learning Languages Effortless!

in dtube •  7 years ago

I used to be crap at learning a new language. I believed I would never be able to learn a new language. Fast-forward to now, and I am learning a language effortlessly, all due to my consistent and regular meditation practice. Meditation has changed my brain structure so that my memory has improved, and my skill at learning languages has quadrupled. Do you meditate? What kind of meditation do you do?

I have thought about meditation for a while, but haven't found a way to get started, maybe you can recommend a book or video etc. Nice post

Thanks!! Yeah, for sure. I would recommend the app Calm for you to get started. You don't need to read any books. Just start using the guided meditations in Calm and they will help you get started right away. Lots of help for beginners in there. Let me know what you think of it, if you try it. :)

Thanks boomshikha, I'll try

Please let me know how it goes for sure. :)

I find it really challenging. What kind of meditation do you do? I tend to focus on my breath but it doesn't seem to help for one reason or another.

No I don't focus on my breath. It's really hard as a beginner to do that. As I have told another individual, I do a guided body scan meditation from the app Calm. Check it out and let me know what you think.

For a while, I used the Head Space app for meditation. It's mindfulness meditation. After a few weeks I was much calmer and more centered. I really have to get back into it. Thanks for sharing! :)

Yesss!! I love the app Calm and Headspace. I have used both of them. But I agree, you just have to stick with it for a while. And it changes you from the inside out. :)
