Trust Is Built One Brick At A Time

in dtube •  7 years ago

We cannot build trust if we don't put in the time and effort. It all takes a long-term view. We cannot build trust with people overnight, just like we cannot build a business overnight. What is your plan to build trust with your partners, and friends?

You are absolutly right, the foundation of trust begins within yourself. If you don't trust yourself how can you build trust with others. That like building a house on cracked foundation. That's probably one of the reason we have all the problems in the world today, because many societies and cultural norms, especially in the western world, don't embraise people, to gaine self confidence. Nobody like to stand outside of the norm, and i think to some degree that have something to do with lack of self trust. It obviously also about people don't want to get out of their comfort zone. But again this can be brought back to the lack of self esteem, self confidence and the trust in one self. Good Post :-) I'll keep an eye on your channel

Thank you for such a great comment!! You hit the nail on the head... It is all about trusting oneself first. Great stuff. Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it.

I absolutely agree with this. It is important to first trust yourself and make yourself worthy of someone else's trust. It is only when you have built the right foundation as you said, you can create an entire building on that. Trust doesn't come easily too. So when in a relationship, make sure to be consistent in your good and positive efforts so the other party knows you are sincere and honest. It is human to err so making a few mistakes is alright but what's important is that you learn from them and make sure not to repeat them. Nice post @boomshikha and great reply @mackjez-santos :)

@boomshikha hi. an offbeat question. how to transfer steem from polenix to steemit wallet? any idea?

No clue!! Sorry. I would ask one of the cryptocurrency dudes on Steemit. They know their stuff better than me.

Indeed! I agree with your sentiment wholeheartedly. Trust indeed can't be built overnight. It can never be forced on someone else either. The slow build up is the only way to go to forge lasting connections. There are no shortcuts or hacks for it. It's just something that has to be built organically. I liked how your analogy of bricks, as it's certainly how I believe trust is built.

I'm so glad you liked my video and my analogy with the bricks. I really appreciate your support. Have a great day.
