How Do I Upload Videos to D.tube? I Need Advice Please!

This evening, I am up way too late -- a habit I'd like to break. I know so many of you are familiar with it: That time, especially if you are a mother, when everyone is sleeping and you have down time with no interruptions (and even this is not guaranteed, but moving on...).

So what was intriguing tonight happens to be a couple of things: For the first time, I noticed the "redeem rewards" button (to hit it or not to hit it, that was the question). I researched a little bit and decided it was fine to press it. Then there came the, "Oh yeah, I wanted to get into D.tube and start putting up videos." So I simply...

No, no, it wasn't so simple. Not yet. I finally figured out how to log in. I chose a video I wanted to put on D.tube, and pressed the "snap" button. It said that was for a photo. Oh, oops, yeah... that does make sense. I did a little more research but then ended up seeing it on my own: I was to press the center of the box! Silly me! The whole rectangle on the page was for uploading videos! I must REALLY be tired. I mean it was right in front of my face! Whew! Okay, I'm getting this now.

There. I clicked it. Chose my video, and... My video is not the right format?! Oh, phewy. I can't win tonight. Maybe the moral of the story is that I should have gone to bed two hours ago, and figured all this out in the daytime!

If you have helpful D.tube expertise, please feel free to share so that I can start uploading videos! Thanks!

Hey @buysoaphere, here are 2 very good tutorials. Also before you login to dTube do not use steemconnect but rather login with your posting key

Thank you. Those are good tutorials, and I did peak at one or two before, but my snag at this point is the format of the video. How to I make a video be the right format? What format is right for d.ube?

Dtube properly accepts videos with following specs:
1.480p resolution
2.AAC audio format (in video)
3.mp4,h264,webm

You can also join the dTube and onelove dTube discord groups and they will be more than happy to help you

Thank you very much. I have a few things to learn I guess!
