Here's another pretty interesting one! I find that the views of FE proponents (no, not like the FE society nuts...) actually have a lot of likely models that do work mathematically. To me, the takeaway is that math alone isn't a good enough reason to assume a reality. I've never seen the earth myself ... I have zero idea what shape it is. The sky is round, I'll give you that.
