Davi Barker of The Black Sale joins us to discuss his book, Authoritarian Sociopathy. We talk about the various psychological experiments that have been done in the past to show people's propensity to obey or disobey authority, and Barker proposes his own experiment that could take this research even further.

It is important to note that while most people evince these changes in their behaviour in these conditions, not all of us do. Ron Paul was the only politician I was confident did not exemplify these human traits. That is exactly why he was deprecated by the enemedia when he ran for President.

It is also why the extant limits on corporate power are inadequate, why democracy is a weapon against freedom, and all governments tyranny. It is for all these reasons that I am an anarchist, and why I am extremely bullish on the dissemination of decentralized means of production. When people no longer must buy products from institutions that put people in environments that almost ubiquitously cause the changes in behaviour treated in this interview, but profitably to themselves can create their own goods and services, humanity is better off, because less power is being wielded by sociopaths over us all as a result.

Something I have been repeating often of late, a mantra regarding corporate power, is that centralization is tyranny. It isn't credible that government, transnational corporations, or even any institutions larger than mom and pop shops, can be humane. Corporations and such institutions are inhuman, and create conditions that make people sociopaths, so even the employees of corporations become inhuman in that environment. Most people don't grasp how different people in power are from them. In the Assange affair that decreases the safety of Assange, and reduces the pressure on government to end censorship and propaganda. People just aren't aware of the power media corporations wield, nor what that does to their employees with the archaic title 'journalist'. Those employees aren't journalists any more, if they ever were. They're nothing but shills, advocates for increasing tyranny, and liars deliberately acting to prevent journalism. The Hegelian Dialectic in practice.

Decentralization is freedom. Not a route to freedom, not something that promotes freedom, but actual freedom from the inhuman entities that effectively rule humanity today. The only mechanism I am aware of that ends this despotic oppression endemic to institutions is decentralization of means of production. No violent revolution, protests, or written works can actually effect greater human freedom than the dissemination of means of production to individual human beings and their families, that they can employ in their personal homes at their sole option.

Thanks!

wawo sir i am big fan of you
your video is very impressive

Excellent work.

This is why entrepreneurs who believe in freedom need to understand the psychology being used against the masses and how their inherent weaknesses are being exploited. As well as how the organizational method we've been taught doesn't work well by design.

Hierarchy has it's weak points and this report shows it clearly. Appointing one person with authority has ethical consequences and demonstrates influence/possible conditioning toward short term thinking. We have and there are alternatives that solve these problems. High performance teams that embrace long term thinking, that identify and assign roles and responsibilities and hold each other accountable... are much more productive, effective, ethical and efficient.

Would love to see this done, it's amazing the effect fancy dress has as @dannyshine points out often 💯🐒
