Music Video - Original New Music by @darrenclaxton 'Ocean' - Filmed on the British Coast -

in dtube •  7 years ago

Welcome to my first DTube upload for this new account.

Here's a video for my track 'Ocean' filmed by a pro cameraman who worked for the BBC here in the UK.
It was made for me as a favour, as he'd used some of my music for a few other projects that he was involved with at the time. It was shot on the English Riviera in Torbay - Devon. It's a simplistic kind of video shoot but fits the song really well I think.

Thanks for watching.
Darren

And a master videographer too?!?!? You never fail to astound me! Love the song and I really love this video, and I thought the ending sequence where you smoothly move the view to the sky and fade to white, is an exquisite final touch. You're an amazing artist!

So, you say you do what for a living? And it's not this? We've got to change that situation!

@free-reign I can't take the credit for this video filming - although I'd like to! I'm an honest person!
It was filmed by a really great former BBC camera-man as a favour for using my music on his projects.
I obviously had an input for the idea of the film.
I really would love to write and record music for a living!
As always!
Thanks

K, so it was a pro on the video, but everything I said still stands! And I know that anyone that creates such wonderful music from the soul the that way you do, couldn't be anything but honest, my friend.

Hey welcome to Dtube!

Nice work bro! It was awesome to hear your recorded work. Great song this one! Catchy chorus! Nostalgic vibe. Gets the mind thinking back to those times...
Diggin' it bro!

Cheers bro! Such a simple song! It's what we don't play that matters, if you catch my drift? There's loads of air around 'Ocean' much like The Ocean!
Cheers for listening bud!
Darren

Often it's the simplest songs that people like the most. Many of Dylan's songs were done with 3 basic chords.
