Gramophoned - Bill Kerr - The Death of Willie (Only got three minutes) 1951 His Masters Voice HMV B10057 (OEA15438)

Had a look in my shed and while I was in there I came across a huge pile of gramophone 78rpm records and thought to myself 'what should I do with them?'. Then, this idea came up 'I'm going to record them all and post them up on a decentralised network, where they will be preserved forever for other generations to discover and enjoy!'.
These are not sorted in any way so, they will be done in the order they come in, I hope you enjoy this historical musical journey as much as I am sure I will.

Any comments or knowledge of any of the artists/songs etc. are most welcome.

This is a recording of 'Bill Keir' performing 'The Death of Willie (Only got three minutes)' on this gramophone record of which I have, played on an electric turntable, converted to mp3 with noise reduction & normalisation.

William Henry Kerr (10 June 1922 – 28 August 2014), credited as Bill Kerr, was a South African-born entertainer, who had a successful career in Britain and Australia as an actor, comedian and vaudevillian. Beginning as a child performer in Australia, he emigrated to Britain after the Second World War, and developed a career as a performer in comedy, especially gaining notice in the radio version of Hancock's Half Hour. In 1979 Kerr returned to Australia and developed a second career as a character actor.

If you want to skip the talking, the song starts at approximately 1:40.
