Everyday at 00:00 UTC+8, the system takes snapshot of users’ KCS holdings. And the snapshot of KCS holdings decides the discount rate of each user at that day. Please be aware that it could take up to an hour to take effect the new discount rate, but the discount rate should be updated before 01:00 UTC+8, and lasts until the next round of snapshot taking.
Holding every 1000 KCS results to 1% discount of trading fees, the maximum discount rate shouldn’t exceed 30%. Therefore, holding 10000 KCS results to 10% discount, holding 40000 KCS results to the maximum discount rate which is 30%.
They also have an invitation bonus which is as a referral compensation program, basically for every person that YOU invite, you get 20% of the trading fees of the person you invited as an INCOME, and then 12% of the trading fees of the people that they invite. (I know you think that this reeks of a pyramid-scheme, however, I need to highlight that the KCS team do NOT benefit at all from this referral program as they actually LOSE money if OTHER people/users are using these referrals.) It is an attempt to bring more volume and traffic, but traders/investors only stand to gain from this, we have absolutely nothing to lose, the more friends you invite the more income you can have. It’s mind-blowing how this system works, almost too good to be true but it’s not.
Right now, KCS is flying under the radar, it hasn’t even been added to CMC yet (they are getting it added very soon) and once it does we do expect to see a lot of hype, there will be a very huge in-flux of traders who would come to the exchange, I see this as the death of COSS, no one will go back once they try out KCS.
I would get in now before its too late, once it hits CMC and the masses start flocking to buy it, and use the KCS exchange there will be no going back. Remember to always DYOR, look at the whitepaper, go to their telegram and suss out whether you’d go with it or not.
