Vlog 11 - Pull-up challenge - How many can you do?

What's up guys,

todays video is an entry for the pull-up challenge by @matkodurko.
The task is to do as many pull ups as you can in 380 seconds.
I counted 52 so far.
Just give this contest a chance for yourself if you want to.

Pull-Ups are probably the best exercise when it comes to a strong back.
You should definitely involve them into your workout.
For those of you that can't do a full pull up, there are also different types of variations of the pull-up.
I will show you some of my favorites in a different video.

Why 380s? Thats an ugly number! :D

Do you have heard about the 50 pullups challenge in 5 min? This one i want to try out by myself soon ;) Will be hard, training wasn't that good ans intensive in last time.... 😅

Later on I will watch the video and judge again :P :)

I didn't create the contest.
It was made by @matkodurko.
I think you wanted to do his 50 Pull-ups and stopped the time when he reached them.
Then he made this time as specification. That's at least my theory :P

I will concentrate more on pull-ups in the future as well and implement more variations into my workout.
Such a great exercise.

Would love to see you trying the 50 pull-ups in 5 mins hehe

Haha the number is suuperugly I know!

And @infinityroad is correct, I wanted to do 50 as fast as possible and stopped the time then. Challenge was originally meant to be just for closed circle of people but then I realised to go "public". And then rewards got bigger since @flipstar donated 7.5 SBD for the prices. Btw you still have 7 hours to go, here's the challenge .

As I told you, here my judging :D

Very nice reps and clean form! Definetely it is looking good!
But @infinityroad and @matkodurko I understand the nice idea behind this challenge and I really like those stuff belonging to sports and physical fitness, but these reps aren't all Pull Ups! If you use CHIN UPS, like you both did, you train quite different muscles and it is not very comparable to solo Pull Ups :D
Your Bizeps in punished even harder with Chin Ups ;)

Nevtherless I really like the idea and the challenge and I know that the fun and the spirit of sport stays in the first role :) I will enter too, but later!

Ok thank god i watched the video otherwise i had developed some serious inferiority complex just by reading the title, post and comments.. i thought what the heck have i been doing my whole life? People here can do 50 / 60 pull ups while i have considered myself a hulk while doing 14-15.
Then i watched the video and i felt relaxed to see that you can also take rest in between.. :p

But even then, 380 seconds is too much time to be doing pull ups since your forearms start to wear-out and kudos to you to have done 52 of them in that time..

Yeah it was just for the contest.
I will concentrate more on pull-ups in the futures hoping to increase the quantity of pull-ups in a certain time.
I think the rests in between where to little.
In the first attempt I did 16 pull-ups, later on I did for example only 4 in a row haha.
Also I didn't figured out which grip works the best for me, so I did try out different grips in the video.

Why don't you join Dtube as well buddy?

you have nothing to worry about.. like i said that your forearms start to give up after so many pull ups so it is still pretty impressive to do 4-5 pull ups in a row in the last leg.

For me, the backhand grip works the best.

And as for the final question, yes, i am looking into possibility of joining dtube to leave few video posts through it.. expect me on Dtube soon ^_^..

Klimmzüge lassen sich quasi überall machen.
Wäscheständer, Spielplatz, Baum usw.
