It's a very sad day. Well it happened. I lost all of my content. 18 years worth of material. I'm talking music, photos, video projects, and so much more. It's a very very sad day. To be quite honest I'm not even sure how to bounce back from this. And on top of that I'm not even sure I can trust another hard drive. Oh yeah it’s that bad. Today makes me miss the days of floppy disks. Anyone remember those?

This reminds me of an old Dwyane Wade sneaker commercial. It went something like if you fall seven times, you have to get up at eight, and that's exactly what I'm going to do starting with this vlog. One day at a time, but the question is do I have it in me to rebuild and create?

I'd like to take the time to thank @ocd, @sverimac, @ashikstd, @onelovedtube, @curie, & @ddaily for their support. Steem would not be the same without all of you and your curation initiatives.

That sucks but the good part is at least all the experience that you gained from creating is still with you

This is very true.

Aww sorry man, that sucks. I always try to have at least one backup if not two for my hard drives but inevitably there are gaps between when I make backups. I have been lucky so far in not ever losing a huge chunk of stuff but have definitely lost some things, and it hurts. Maybe in the future cloud storage will be cheap enough but as I am sure you know, if you are talking video the gigs add up quickly. Good luck brother

Appreciate the support. Yeah it sucks, I think I need to adopt the "three backups" system. If this happens again, I don't know what I'll do. Especially with what I'm doing now.

Noooo, this is the worst! So sorry, I do remember the flash drive. Some would say we should bring it back. Keep at it bro, like your stuff so far.

Thanks @kubbyelizabeth! Those floppy disks were durable! This won't slow me down though. More motivation.
