Anyone else thought of buying a Raspberry Pi and learning Linux? If you have then check out this YT video. I've been Pi curious recently and by coincidence I was in Target Sunday and they had Pi 3. I haven't purchased one because I'm still in that "should I buy it?" mode.
If you've been Pi curious give me your thoughts.
Yes, some days I am more comfortable in a terminal doing things at the command line.
I have started a couple of communities in the beta.steemit.com site, getting a head start on the things I most want to create posts and learn more about:

Learning Python - https://beta.steemit.com/trending/hive-164872

YES, you should buy one and start learning Linux and Python.
Well I have been using various Linux distributions since early 1990's and my current primary desktop computer is running Linux, so I had to laugh at the video's hard to learn comments. I also started using Raspberry Pi in 2012 about 6 months after it was released and I was finally able to buy one. As a Linux user the Raspberry Pi was the ideal choice due to the low cost to entry and I believed in the idea of using a lost cost computer to enable computing education. I now own 12 various models of the Raspberry Pi. I have two running full time monitoring various temperatures inside and outside my home.
I am using the temperature monitoring as an incentive to learn Python programming.

Thanks! I think I'll be buying one soon. I remember many years ago when I was in service and using a Radio Shack TRS-80 with a 5 1/4" floppy and DOS. Then, point and click came along and ruined it for me. Lol
