This is my first upload on @dtube and I am glad to finally be trying this out. Here is the video. This video is of a street stall vendor in Phnom Penh crushing fresh sugar cane for raw sugar cane juice. When I was a child all these machines were hand operated and the older versions can be found in villages across Asia. They look awesome and I always wanted one to recondition! 😉
Even just chewing raw sugar cane can be very satisfying and the juice has it's own unique amazingness! 😉
My First DTube Video
This video was not created by me but rather by my good friends at Kiri Farms who asked me to upload some of their videos to dtube so we could see what the Steemit community's reaction would be. I still haven't perfected the process and was not able to upload the picture I wanted for the video but I will work on the process and improve very shortly!

I've made it before up at a friend's remote hill farm in the Atlantic rainforest of Brazil, a real old clunky hand squeezer... jeez why didn't I take a picture of it?? It's really quite hard work and you ended up getting totally splatted with cane juice during the process, but boy does that juice taste so awesome by the end of it! They also had the habit of just cutting some and skinning it and eating it like a natural Popsicle, very thirst quenching!

Last summer, I went to Florida and tasted this sugar cane juice for the first time. Honestly, I thought it wasn't going to taste too good but I was quite surprised. Additionally, just observing the sugar being crushed by the machine was quite interesting.
