Apostasy by the boat load!

That's very interesting and insightful! Yahweh is definitely calling us all to know Him personally and experientially, and that doesn't necessarily mean regularly attending religious services, which our grandsires considered sooo important. We don't have a home church either, but are open minded to attending in the future. Having the unique experience of working in a couple churches for most of my working life thus far, I have a little different perspective than a lot of believers as I've seen the inner workings of some of the religious establishment. For some pastors, it's more about building their own little kingdom than Gods kingdom, and many churches are run like corrupt government corporations, whilst doing things in Gods name. I firmly believe we need to be witnesses of God operating in our lives before we even think about "witnessing" to others. Otherwise, are we just trying to propagate religion? Don't know about the falling away having happened already, although the religious institutions have consistently been corrupted from the inside over and over again. Roman Catholicism turned into a cult quite a long time ago, and they never repented of that, which is why the Lutheran Reformation happened. At least the Catholics let people read the Bible in their own language, now. Of course, that's because they couldn't stop it from happening, but they still don't promote it, though they do, like you said, claim papal infallibility over and above anything else, including the Bible. And now the pope is promoting "Chrislam", which I find very interesting because Yeshua said in the end times, people would be killing believers, and thinking that doing so was a service to God, which, admittedly, has been happening for some time now in various places. Perhaps it's going to ramp up soon in the west. And, on that cheerful thought, goodnight! ;-) But, seriously, it also says in the Bible that God will send the people who reject Him a powerful delusion so they'll believe the lie, and it'll be a separation of the wheat and the chaff, as it were. Kind of like what happened with Pharaoh in Moses' time when He hardened Pharaohs heart so He could display His power and pour out His wrath on the persecutors. Anyway, those are some of my thoughts. Thanks for posting!
