Hello there,
A Game About Literally Filing Your Taxes is just what it sounds like. A game about you literally filing your taxes. I know, I know the title itself is certainly a mouthful but you gotta cut the devs some slack. It's difficult to come up with a title when you need to produce a game in 48 hours for a jam.
The objective?
File your taxes.
The caveat?
You go insane from the amount of taxes you filed.
Damn. You know things are royally fucked when you're not even safe from taxes.
Review
The game itself is good in a sense that there is a deeper story behind it. Granted the gameplay did become a tad bit monotonous but I think that was done on purpose. Think about it. Filing taxes in general is a rather tedious, boring activity that must be done every year without fail. If that's the feeling the devs were going for, then I applaud them for it. Also, I think I got the bad ending.
And judging from the comments that can be found in the Itch.io website, there's a secret ending to this game as well. So if you want to try this game for yourself here's the link ---> https://notasailorstudios.itch.io/a-game-about-literally-doing-your-taxes
And as for the two week delay.... well.... I'm here now ain't I? Better late than never, I guess.
