Childhood Games - Five Stones

in dtube •  6 years ago

Hey There SteemVerse Friends

The kids brought back a game called Five Games and this is not a game kids play anymore, at least not in the city, so I was amused and excited. I had to refresh my memory on how to play it.

They tell me there are only 7 levels but I remember 10. If you have ever played it, let me know if you played it the same way I am.

I got some history on the game as I researched to find out a little about it. It is apparently from Ancient Asia which spells India. And it is still played in the villages and rural areas there and also here.

What are your childhood games that has been forgotten? Share with us, would love to know.

Seashells .. :)

The good ol days, when the simple things in life brought us such great joy <33
Thank you @priyanarc and @onelovecuration

ps: you had no trouble watching the video? I can't playback ;0

I remember we played the something similar as a kid, similar moves but I can't remember how you win. We mainly used rice in our little sacks. There was one move where you place the sacks on back of your palm, throw them up and catch them by clawing them so the back of your palm is always facing up. Does that make sense?🤔

Yes, yes!!
That's what I did at the beginning to help decide who starts the game
Now I am not sure it is within the levels somewhere hmmmmm
Did you also call it 5 stones?
