Julian Assange was arrested in London based on a U.S. extradition order. Trump is pandering to the Deep State, the majority of whom have been calling him a Russian spy for two years and counting.
Trump’s supporters and others need to call him out when he’s wrong. Julian Assange broke no legitimate U.S. laws, he is accused of nonsensical spy business based on an unproven fake Russian conspiracy. He is a publisher who published leaks, which is protected by the First Amendment. This is a real attack on freedom of speech, not the same as snubbing narcissist hack Jim Acosta or calling the majority of MSM “fake news,” which they are. Hopefully Julian will get medical care and will eventually be freed, but time will tell.
