In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Monday, August 26th, 2019. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market and the price of WTI and Brent crude oil.

Today I look a little closer at the escalating so-called Trade War between the United States and the People's Republic of China and ask the question whether what we are actually seeing is a controlled demolition of the current economic and financial structure of the world economy.

With recent talk by Central Bankers like Mark Carney, the governor of the Bank of England, that the world needs a new multi-polar currency system as the dollar cannot perform its function as Global Reserve Currency any longer I think it is a definite possibility that what we are witnessing in terms of crises like Trade Wars, Brexit etc.. are the excuses that will be given to the public for a systemic collapse.

My conclusion then is that what we are seeing in the markets and the economies around the world is a controlled demolition of the system and the Americans will be able to blame China and the Chinese will be able to blame the Americans for it.
