funny but someone wanted permissions to take all of my credits when I tried to sign up for Dtube after watching your Vid! The link they sent to me to verify my email when I "signed up" was bad.

So, another scam warning. Scary
They phished me for permission to use all my credits.
Now I've read up more and realize i have to use another password,
They got me to register for the Dtube site, create a user name and password.
And then when I clicked the link to verify by email it brought me to a page asking me to sign into my steemit , Then asked for permissions to use my credits and everything else connected to my account.
I tried to use the user name and password I had supposedly signed up with to log into Dtube. And that's when I realized there was no such way to do that.
I didn't re-sign into Steemit using my long block chain password, so I think I'm safe.

Buddy, I highly doubt it Dtube redirected you. Always sign in using your private posting key :) Btw check the previous 2 posts on my wall so you can see what happened to me!

I did. Right after watching your vid about being hacked was when it happened.
If it was all on the "up and up" why did they make me create a user name and password, and then say I had to verify - when I can never use that user name / password and am supposed to log in via Steemit?
I liked your advise about getting the posting password, which I'm going to do now & will continue on to sign up for Dtube.

Had to change my Steemit password. Then on Chrome, the browser I used when I responded to the weird request for the creation of user name and passwork, I was told I was locked out and my password was wrong. I'm now using Epic browser and I was able to log in with the new password.
Also, Dtube would't let me post my vid. I got several error messages.
All I want to do I find a place for political speech without censorship.

They've got my email now. I got another phishing email. Click on this to get your coupon from Ebay" fake ebay return addy. I just deleted. They will probably try again.
