Everything about this was pure cringe.

The whole incident came across as being driven by her petulance at being slighted by Trump when he refused to shake her hand. It's not so much a political statement, rather someone with a hugely inflated sense of self-importance having a meltdown because her ego was bruised.

Pelosi and Trump make a great pairing in that regard.
