They need to be able to fix the issues and also should be to able to scale quickly

I agree and I'm very optimistic that those things will happen as the site is off to a good start only being live for a little over 1 week.

Still, the road is long for dtube.

Yes indeed but at least it is here and can be improved upon.

Hope so.

It have all the potential to become next big thing.

Yes it does and I think that it is amazing that one person started this.

nice to share this video about dtube and the dtube is best and its video quaility and pixels are best and also the best from youtube because it attach with steemit and give some benefit us and i hope the next dtube take over the youtube with the steemians efforts @mrwalt

Yeah, this is a very good thing for Steemit and should help the price move north as more people outside of the community start to learn about it.

We will make it more profitable than Youtube due to its in steem blockchain . Youtube and its censorship , hopefully will lose market share (not now because we still need to buy more steem) and steem price will hike by fall next year

I think that the price STEEM will see a healthy increase before the end of this year.

Lets hope that steem price takes it easy till next year haha inorder for us to reach a top target isnt it?

I either want the price of STEEM to tank to .10 cents or to skyrocket. Either or would suit me just fine. If it goes to .10 cents I will buy enough so that when it rises back to $1.00 will give me instantly 1,000,000 STEEM or to just take off and go above $2.00.

Good strategic move bud...a win win strategy indeed...

Yes I'm waiting for either scenario to play out as something is going to happen IMO very soon.

Good one, hopefully it will tank till year end and then by next yer start rising to the moon. Do you know anything about the next HFork?

Do not make my bunghole angry!... You have any holio?

I'm with you on that. The only thing that I have heard about the next hard-fork is that it was postponed and that it will focus more on the scale-ability of the platform as opposed to the cosmetic things that we normal see.

It will be much better than the youtube and it is still in the initial phase, it has still a lot to go.

That definitely is wishful thinking as it still has a long way to go. However, I'm very hopeful for it's future.

Hey buddy have you watched your steemvoter and adjusted the % of upvote assigned to me.Please do it dear, I really need your good support.

Yes and I adjusted it up today. I'm going to be making some changes and will be using it less as it is not effective at the moment.

Thanx dear.

I am interested to see how the handle copy write and take down issues. I used it briefly yesterday and while I pray for an alternative to youtube I still think dtube has a long way to go. Some vids would not start and some would have huge buffreing issues. I will follow closely.

@simondocherty I agree with everything that you said. However, by it being in BETA., it will get better as time goes on.

you are great @mrwalt

I appreciate your comment and feedback.

I think it will become bigger than youtube one day

I hope that you are right has that means great things for the price of STEEM.

Just give it some time. This is too new and is not maintained by an army of programmers with endless funding.

That is my thought process as well as the platform is not even 2 weeks old.

thanks for sharing

Thank you for your feedback.

dtube author has said he doesn't intend to monetize dtube, and he probably will drop development of it in the not too distant future.

there are so many unanswered questions, but this is also an "unstoppable application". it can be hosted almost anywhere, it can move around, and this was recently talked about by the author in a recent post. a universal URL can provide a perm address that can't be taken down by DNS...

but it also shows the potential of stringing HPFS and STEEM together, as you say

my guess is this model will be successful, and dtube will have other competitors that end up providing these services in a more organized and technically stronger fashion

much like torrents have never been stopped, dtube, or the idea of what dtube has demonstrated, is not stoppable, and will grow over time

I would not be surprised if @ned likes it enough to just incorporate it into Steemit, but the legal issues may prevent him from doing so..

I'm happy to see DTube emerge as it shows all of the potential possibilites for the Steemit platform going forward. Should DTube continue it's success (which I'm not sure why it would not) other developers may be interested in taking it further should the original developer decide not to. I hope that the original developer has a change of heart. However, if you look at steemd.com the developer is getting 25% of the rewards for each video posted on DTube.
