I survived a dangerous accident. Can you guess what happened here?

During a Trek in Himalayas I survived a trekking accident. We were in no mans land literally and it was only nature and an isolated track.
Out of no where there is a SUDDEN bash on the ground. But I survived it. Can you guess what was the bash about?
