Today we are changing the oil on our 2009 Jeep Patriot Sport 2x4. I tend change our own oil when it is cheaper for us to do so than the dealership or at a well respected auto shop. This should pretty much work on all models of Jeep Patriots, BUT check your Manual first BEFORE starting an oil change on your Jeep Patriot. This is a fairly straight forward process that just about anyone can do. If this is your first time, please take your time and don't rush. If you rush then there is a greater potential of mistakes being made and possibly a bigger mess to clean up! :-)
Once you have finished changing the oil and cleaning up your work area, sit back and relax and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment and savor the fact that you didn't have to spend anymore than you had to!
I will be using a WIX oil filter, 5W-20 High Mileage Conventional Oil, a cup style oil filter wrench and a 13mm socket. I have revisited the oil change as now I have better camera equipment and lighting. Enjoy!

Hey Y'all! I just made a DOH! on DTube. Being new to the platform I have put the same video on Steemit (first) and then DTube (second) and then I realized that the DTube Submissions also go on Steemit!...... DOH! My apologies to all and I think I have learned my lesson. I will get better..... ;-)
