Thanks for sharing about the addiction you had to video games, Jerry. I struggled years ago with deciding if it was better to play video games (mainly WoW and SC) or to go hang out with friends; unfortunately I chose video games over friends and some the amount of people that I could talk to on a regular basis lessen. Several friends during that time had stopped talking to me altogether and I also had a few friends pass away during that time due to drugs or car accidents. The main thing I learned from that was to prioritize and really find what means more to me to spend my time on/with. Games will come and go and so will friends, but friends will remain if you take the time to develop and maintain those friendships. Cheers to overcoming a major hurdle in your life and finding something that you enjoy doing that doesn't completely take away from time with friends and family. -upvoted and resteemed.
