I'm okay with a transparency for the system and privacy for the individual. Being able to share and look at the same data we decide to share with each other is an important step in trying to adjust the system to more effectively serve the needs of its users. Having access to a complete and perfect knowledge is in and of itself incomplete. There will always be, and should always be, an unknown. The way to both harness, maintain, and cultivate the unknown is by respecting and admonishing the privacy of the individual. Out of this microcosm could emerge a new system that further refines and sharpens the data paradigm of the time. Large broad infrastructures have their place as do localized municipalities, cultures, and information repositories. The mountain can be ascended by all, but the mound should be attended by one.
