It should be quite warm in the thermosphere. Due to the large wavelength of the molecules, however, this heat should have no influence on the ISS. In this experiment you can see very well that heat transport also takes place in a vacuum. The structure of the ISS must absorb the heat. Where are the cooling units at the ISS? These would have to consume enormous energy. Think about it.
