Choosing a good DAWless mixer?

I´m glad that I found your post. And there are mainly two reasons for liking it. Reason one is: There are only a few people out there, who don´t worship their computers and who don´t produce a single "blib" without their PCs and MACs and DAWs and VSTs etc. To make in clear: nothing against these things. I use them myself. But I don´t like the "exclusivity", the "only that way" philosophy. Therefore I like discovering and reading/watching posts like yours. The second reason is: I´m just building an "IT-free" corner in my studio, where I can produce following a different workflow ("change your methods and you´ll change your results"). And what´s more: your post is comprehensive and shows the way to go for somebody, who needs a starting point. (Oh, that was a third reason, wasn´t it?)
Anyway: I´ll follow you now.
By the way: you might be interested in our community "Sound and Sound Design" here on Steemit as well. Details here: https://steemit.com/music/@rofilm/community-sound-and-sound-design

hi @rofilm , thanks for your reply. That sounds like you've got a great plan there!

I find when I'm not on a computer, there's nothing to prevent me from laying down some music ideas. I find that I'm often "tech supporting" myself with things like updates, drivers not working, USB devices not showing up etc - constantly fixing stuff on the computer.

I'm never doing that with a hardware setup.

Anyway - I've followed you back - and catch you around!
