Watch Short message about the hard life in Cambodia! video on DTube
Hello steemians,
This video was made by my niece colleagues in Cambodia!
My niece Kanha plays the role of the mother.
She has a good heart and does many volunteers work for the young and elderly there who are in poor conditions.
The inhabitants of Cambodia who have a close family relationship, which defines traditions and environments.
As in many underdeveloped countries like Cambodia, women are significantly worse than men.
Cambodian women are not much literate against of men.
And have more hard time in real life, especially in an abusive families.
One of this story is about poor widow!
This poor widow who only raises her child and by working hard and she has finally reached her goal.
By teaching her daughter, doing her best at school, is good for her and she worked very hard to saved all the money to please her daughter.
By sharing this video, I would like to show that life in Cambodia is not only beautiful but also has a different side of view.
When I was there I saw a lot of garbage in the street or behind their house in the garden where kids sleeping close to trash.
For many, living conditions did not work out. Children walk around with little clothes and they did not look healthy or cared for.
It was very sad for me to see sadness, because I knew that many khmer people also do not know or can do anything else.
I want to bring this awareness to steemians and when i was there, not just only play a tourist walking around in Cambodia.
My parents before both left this world they helped a lot poor villages by making water pump, helping children schools, abusive families and money loan for there busines.
Cambodia had a dark past but we are now going into good direction, because of our ancient temples heritage and many around the globe start to know Cambodia.
I'm really glad to hear that.
But we need more help...!
And therefore I would like to contribute a little.
Me with a little girl in countryside.
