'Italy has raised its head': Rome boycotts new EU refugee plan

14 EU countries have agreed on new rules for refugees designed to ease the burden on some states. Italy, though, boycotted the talks in Paris, objecting to what it sees as France & Germany deciding for others how to deal with newcomers.

    Is just about time for some countries in the EU to start defending their interests. Germany and France seemed to be the only ones taking decisions for everyone in the EU.
