I'm not a fan of intellectual property laws as they stand, but posting full movies on here, hoping to profit from them, is shameless. The people who make these films work tirelessly to entertain others. Please stop doing this and go create content on your own. I do not want Steem to become known as the hub of pirated films. the US government takes intellectual property laws extremely seriously.

Any money made here will go directly into putting more movies on here and eventually hosting a site which can link directly to them. People are always going to torrent and so many people are getting hit with spyware and viruses when they do. I will never post movies that were in theaters, but I fundamentally dont agree with how the government/hollywood acts and what they charge for their movies. They have a monopoly and I believe that after films are released on dvd/bluray, people who want to see them and purchase the films later, if they like them, should. The government subsidizes Hollywood in the hundreds of millions of dollars a year, giving them little incentives to not make shit movies, our own tax dollars at work. The little people who really matter in making the films are already paid regardless and further profit only goes to the studios at this point.

I agree with your sentiments regarding the cronyism between Hollywood and the State. I work in Hollywood and I agree with you, but you're fostering a culture here on Steemit - and the technologies Steem fosters - that condones illegal behavior which will actually harm people when the US government comes after Steemit. And if the problem gets big enough they will. Companies and governments alike will paint Steemit as a place where criminals steal intellectual property. Frankly, that's not what I want for this awesome technology and the people who care about this community.
Do you seriously want Steemit and the social networks that spring from it to be a hub for illegal activity? Steem is a public ledger and it will be easy to find out who is "stealing" intellectual property. So, once again, do you want people to go to prison for this? Do you?

To be honest though, even if I dont do it, someone else will and if steemit is truly decentralized, it should be able to fend off government attacks, or else the tech is not decentralized at all. I can guarantee you that in a week there will be people on dtube doing nothing other than stealing content, whether it is hollywood or youtube content. I see it happening already. I asked calaber24p to upvote me (i dont know if he still will) because he has said prior that he believes in similar ideas.

You are going to ruin a good community by doing this. Others may follow suit, you could put all of steemit in legal trouble. Doing a review or a highlight is one thing putting the whole movie up is going too far. I understand and share your opinion of Hollywood. I would rather see you make a moral stand and not a criminal one. By doing this you are no better than the ones you hate.

I think dtube should be used to fight censorship on youtube. In any even steem needs to move out of the USSA asap. Moving away from the USSA 20 years ago was the best thing I ever did. But the USSA is about to go down the tubes real soon and that will be a good day. Good riddance to the most corrupt and evil government, other than the UK, the world has ever seen. We are in a race against human extinction now caused by these criminal scum.

I hope we can some how fix are problems in house, but the corruption runs very deep and wide spread. The sad thing is there are still a large group of people here that can't see, even though it is right in front of them. But the US government is not the source of this corruption the orders are coming from somewhere else. The US is being used as a puppet.
