When you first start skydiving you go for your first 7 jumps with instructors, the first 2 jumps they hold you while you exit and then in free fall and your 3rd jump is when they start to release you to see if you can fly on your own.
After you complete those 7 jumps you should be able to get in the aircraft, ride up, take your position in the door, exit, the aircraft and freefall stable until its time to deploy your parachute, and be able to navigate your parachute to the ground.
for jumps 8-24 you jump with a coach who helps you work on skills and controlling your fall rate, moving across the sky, spinning, etc. but until you get your A-license your still only allowed to jump with instructors or coaches. This means you will only be jumping with one other person until you have the skills to fly safe-ish with other Licensed jumpers, you are eligible to do an A license check dive on jump 25 to get your license to jump with other jumpers
As you can see here on Wheeler's first jump with other non instructors we have quite a few inexperienced jumpers missing the formation and even myself crashing into the formation a bit haha! we call these zoo jumps! when things do quite go according to plan.
While obviously dangerous compared to a jump with instructors or more experienced jumpers by the point you should have the skills to deal with this situation, once you can jump with more inexperienced skydivers like yourself is when your skills really start to get better, you realize the instructors were flying to you a LOT more than you were flying to them in your coach jumps! but as you jump more you become more confident in your movement, technique and awareness in the sky and things becomes so much more fun than they are scary! I wish everyone could have the opportunity to get to this point in skydiving where its not as nerve wracking and its just having a ton of fun with your friends in the sky!

If you had to jump out of an airplane to get this photos, you deserve a vote.
