Here's a song started as an improvisation on my cigar box guitar. Later I added a drum track via my Roland handsonic. Finally I added a guitar and bass track with my Musicman Stingray 5 and Petrucci 7 string. The feel of this song kind of reminds me of an old dusty saloon in the wild west on its last legs. What a great sound 🤘saloon party ;) ok, but I'm not sure what is the cigar box guitar...it sounds like "tamburica" but I don't think this is the same instrument 🤔

Thanks for listening :-). This cigar box guitar was made by hand with an old petron cigar box. It has doubled strings similar to a bouzouki. It is very similar to a tamburica just with a cigar box instead of a bowl shaped resonator.

I don't know why my comments do not show up on Dtube so Ive come to you steemit site to rewrite it because I love your music and presentations.
At first, I thought this might be a weak presentation by the way you started it with a few weak strokes on your cigar box guitar but then you build and layer on the other instruments and add the powerful ending. I loved it!

Aha now this comment finally showed up, before it just said "undefined". Thanks for listening, sometimes i like to start an improvisation by scratching out a tempo on the strings. Now i wish i had added another track with some symbols in it to round it out a bit more with percussion.
