The Steemians Home- The Fish Song @simgirl

Hi Everyone!

This is a very special video.

The story and music were written by @simgirl.

The #steemhouse was built by me and I did the reading because @simgirl ask me to.

I wrote this song for @snook, because she needed a song for her Old Steemian Home videos. While I was writing the song, I was thinking of all the stories that have evolved from the freewrite prompt of #thesteemianhome on Steemit, and of how we have a chance to show different sides of the characters we are creating with this writing prompt.

I started off in this story as a sock puppet, so I am very relieved to know that I have evolved into a real Sim now. @snook has also taken the time, and devoted many brain cells to create the visual effects of the house with the Sims 4 game, and has offered to provide us with pictures for our stories upon request.

Since she had already provided us with lots of photos of the house Here, I used a few that I needed to show the story, and then requested a few specialty shots to provide greater visual effects to the story along with the music, so I could tell you what really happened that night in the Steemians Home.

Love it @snook. As an avid scuba diver, I can contest to the fact that fish do in fact dance. I have played a game with clown fish, the ones that live among the stinging polyps of sea anemone. I use my finger/hand to mimic a fish, swimming it back and forward above the anemone down at the nemo fish peeking up at me. After about 3 times doing this the clown fish starts to dance out from the polyps and up towards your fingers before darting back into the tentacles warily. Honestly, it's one of the most endearing sights watching this little fish staring up at you and dancing with your hand in the dappled sunlight. I once spent about 15 minutes doing this during a dive and eventually the nemo fish came all the way up to my finger like it was giving me a kiss. Cheesy, I know but I couldn't stop grinning all day after that dive.

Anyway... I went off into story telling mode there lol This reading is fantastic stuff, lovely to hear your voice and the story is almost like something you would read to a child before bed! @simgirl should seriously consider getting an illustrator to make some pic's and see about getting it published as a children book. With a little editing it would be a hit! Thanks for sharing your wonderful reading 😃

Thank you! I have taken a shine at the children's stories. I may go back and publish them once I get a good bit of them... enough to make a story book.

@raj808 I LOVE your fish story!!!! :D and you can go off into storytelling mode in my comments anytime you want :D

I read this the day you wrote it but wanted time to give it a proper reply and :( now it's 4 days later. I'm so sorry :(

and Thank You!! my son talked me into making video's of me reading and I'm having a lot of fun!! I'm trying to find a book that is legal to read on here and do like a chapter a day :D When I was a child my Mom use to listen to something like that on the radio and it was always fun :D
